What grief and addiction have in common

Recently I had the chance to sit down with Matt on The Life Shift Podcast and tell a story it took me almost twenty years to be able to say out loud. 

When I was 24, my life had finally gone quiet for the first time, and then my wife was killed by our next door neighbor on an ordinary Tuesday morning.
